The cat-styled human is a very popular person in
Anime and Manga. Normally it is an extremely beautiful or cute
young girl. It's unknown why but the roots seem to lie in an
annotation to the strong sexual activity of cats which is
projected on girls. It worked without question. But you mustn't
see catgirls as mere sex-kittens (even if some of them match this
pattern). Their behaviour is too different: it varies from kawaii
to ultra-violent.
This gallery gives you an overview about the broad variety of
catgirls in anime and manga. I have added non-anime catgirls,
too, to be not so specified. I would appreciate it, if you give
